The Proms on Dutch TV

Bookmark or ShareThe Dutch TV channel Nederland 2 will broadcast a 50 minute version of Night of the Proms 2009 on Monday December 21, 19.25 CET. The show will be re-run on Friday January 1, 14.15, also on Nederland 2.

It MIGHT be available for viewing on internet after it was broadcasted, as this happens to most of the programs of the Dutch public tv stations.
If so, I will copy a link here. Not sure though if that would be on the 22nd or on the 2nd of January.

As first song they play The Look and nearly at the end they play Joyride.
With a massive audiance. I was there and it was great to see it again.

Of course TV can never compare to “the real deal”, but to be honest I am not too impressed with the program. Marie looks like a background singer (probably due to the “safe” choice of songs) and Joyride does not really rock as much as I hoped.
Fortunately most here know how it really was... goose pimps! Still get them, especially when I hear recordings of WICF, and the crowd’s reaction as soon as they realise Marie is entering the stage so unexpectedly early in the show... great!
